Advent, Day 1
Dec. 1st, 2020 05:45 pmI've finally hung up my Advent calendar. Behold my Christmas Elves in tight formation:
My Good Things of the day:
- I baked three different sort of cookies, namely ginger-cranberry meringues with roast almonds, ginger-walnut cookies and chocolate-peanut cookies; they all turned out quite well. Pictures later, when I had the decorating done.
- I talked to Elise (who's completely healed and is working again) and Eenie, which was nice.
Not much else happened today. I was baking from 9am to 2pm and was pretty much drained afterwards. But Mum liked the cookies, and a good bunch of them I'll put in tin boxes and save for Christmas, so it was totally worth the effort.
