Being productive
Aug. 3rd, 2020 07:24 pmI've finished drawstring bag number 2 (save for the drawstring itself) and almost finished the infamous Chapter 14 of "Magic Mirror). I still have to complete the last scene, but at least I've managed to wrestle the big plot problem into its knees - by leaving out the major part of the actual problem. Not the most elegant solution, but it works. I'd say that I'll get back to it later and iron out the glitches, but previous experience shows that I would never get back to it. There's too much new stuff to write.
When my eyes couldn't do it any longer, I watched a bit of telly (=napped in front of it), talked to two (ex)colleagues and tried to figure out some further plot elements in my head.
Mum started rearranging the flat for the carpet cleaning on the day after tomorrow. Meaning that she started to heap everything onto the sideboard (the only piece of furniture that won't be moved during the cleaning frenzy). Tomorrow comes the dramatic part of the packing, when we drag every bit of china into the kitchen, so that the small cabinets can be moved. *sigh*
