wiseheart: (Uhura_tribble)
Which is not bed, considering that I spent the whole morning with taking Mum to church, doing lots of shopping, taking Mum out for lunch, doing some more shopping, so that it was 3pm when we got home. By that time daylight was so poor that I could only sew with the overhead lamp on - not exactly the method I prefer - and there was nothing on the telly to distract me from the monotonous work. Unlike my other projects, the felt eggs will look very much the same, save for the different colours, so my creativity isn't exactly challenged while working on them.

Tomorrow will be another busy day, with two different choir practices - one of them at half past eight in the morning, the other one at half past six in the evening - and between them chores we couldn't deal with tomorrow, as the post office is closed on Sundays. But the choir friend who visited last Friday will give me a lift to the evening practice and back, so it won't be too bad.

There won't be time for anything else in-between, although it might be possible to make another egg or two. Dratted things take at least two hours, each, to make, so I'll have to put what little daylight we have in these days to good use. After all, I only have two months or so to finish both the eggs and the Doll House quiet book.

This means, of course, that writing will be pushed back again. I haven't translated a word in several days. Considering that I wanted to finish the thing by the end of the month, this is bad news indeed. *sigh*
