Doll House quiet book, front cover

This is just a temporary picture - Pinterest is acting up and won't let me upload the pic, so I must add it directly - that is why you can't enlarge it right now. I'll replace it as soon as Pinterest gets its act together.



I had a lot of pain with this one, had to take it apart three times until I was satisfied with it. The original idea was to sew on each letter to small, triangular flags of different colours and arrange the names as garlands across the page. I did that - it looked horribly crowded and gauche. Then I removed one of the garlands - it still looked ugly. So I carefully cut the individual letters from the little flags and sew them directly onto the page. That means my entire work from yesterday had to be undone, but at least now the thing looks pretty neat, if I say so myself.

Tomorrow I'll work on the back cover, which will be similar, only with the moon and sparky stars. *fingers crossed*
