wiseheart: (harper2)
... although not exactly kicking. My sick days go to end, and although I could certainly use a few more, I decided to go back to work on Monday. I can't stay at home indefinitely, and the coughing will stay till spring no matter what, so I can as well go in. At least I get to go to the shops on my way to work or back.

Still don't feel all that well, but I'm no longer sick enough to justify not working, and I don't want the kids to have random people be with them in the afternoon. Re-establish proper order is going to be hard enough as it is. And the colleagues have enough with their own work, instead of working for me, too, in addition.

I miss my trusted iPad. The little thing started losing energy quite quickly, so I've brought it to my neighbour for healing. I hope it won't take long. I never realized how addictive it can be that one get contact to the rest of the world by merely flipping over a little gizmo. I'm having withdrawal symptoms.

Other than that, I finally began working on my steampunk/vintage/whatever explosion box. It promises to be a lengthy project that I'm going to work on in bits and pieces. I'm quite happy with the 4-part folding cards I made yesterday as part of the decoration. Pics may be when I get my iPad back.

Oh, and I finally dug out my latest unfinished TNG story and finished the latest chapter. I also wrote two half-chapters to the Primeval/Torchwood x-over story. So the sick days were, at least, a little productive.
