Day 7 in Graz

Today we started with attending to Mass at the Franciscan Church. It was touching and beautiful and deeply human; it reconciled me with the Church a bit. If only we had priests like these in our parish...

Then we went to Eggenberg Castle, which was great. We visited the Old Gallery with its sculptures and paintings and altars of 500 years, from medieval times to late barock, saw the amazing Gothic Chapel and enjoyed the Castle itself with its amazing gardens.

In the evening, we watched football, of course, firing Germany on. Hey, Angela Merkel did the same, so we were in good company!

Day 8 in Graz

We didn't do much today, really. Got up late, rode another tram line from one terminus to another, bought a few small gifts for our friens and went to see the Glockenspielhaus again. Mum is getting tired, so it will be good to go home the day after tomorrow, no matter how good a time we are having.
