Holiday blues
Jun. 26th, 2014 10:12 pmWell; a week and a half of the long-awaited summer holiday is over already, and I don't feel particularly rested. Of course, doing more writing (even if general interest for the results is the same as always, it's still a Good Thing in my books) and more research is time-consuming, and so is doing some sensible cooking. Time seems to fly much faster the older I get.
I guess the same is true for my online friends. Everyone is swamped with work, and we are barely present in cybrspace. There was a time when I complained about the fact that if someone else's goldfish had a heartburn it got more attention than my workplace stress or that I nearly broke my neck when stupidly climbing onto a chair in the bathtube to fix something or other in the bathroom. Now I'd be just grateful if people were still present and I knew they were all right. I miss them.
So glad to still have you, Linda and Jenn and Dís and the few others who are still around!
