wiseheart: (harper2)
Which means lots of sick colleagues and also lots of sick kids. Unfortunately, the meanest little trolls somehow seem to be immune against any possible germs that have ever declared war on mankind. Which means that while I do have to do the work for three people (last week), or even potentially for four people (the rosy outlook at next week), the kids that would actually come to school are going to be the most annoying ones. But that is life.

Not having had one undisturbed weekend in the last four weeks, I'm actually beginning to feel my age. And it's beginning to have a bad effort on my creativity. Hopefully, the three readers of "Elvenhome" (out of the four I actually do have on SoA) who have gone AWOL for what I'm sure are perfectly acceptable reasons, will return eventually. The muse needs some pampering, and my bag of tricks is almost empty.

I tried to return to "Sleeping Dragons", but Torchwood doesn't seem to work for me at the moment. Perhaps when I'm done with the research project for "Elvenhome" and "The Dark Prince", which I routinely do at school, hidden in some drafty corner between two lessons, I'll be able to think outside Tolkien's universe again.
