wiseheart: (radek_working)
I'm actually enjoying myself at work from time to time, which is a dangerous thing. Whenever I enjoy work, fate decides to throw something nasty my way. I mean, work-related nastiness. *sighs*

Still, I'm looking forward to baking some Martinsmänner with my fifth and sixth-term groups. And to do some Adventsbäckerei with the same sixth-term class shortly before Christmas.

Perhaps the unpleasantless of the afternoon classes even out my careless enjoyment of the morning classes and nothing nasty will happen just for a while. *touches wood* Although we're going to have parent-teacher meeting right after autumn break - which will be next week - and since I've been demanding from the kids to actually learn and had them write numerous tests with very varied results, I can expect the angry lynch mob for that. *more sighs*

In any case, I've finished the Asterix play for the fifth-term class, which is one less item on my to do list, thank God. Only the fake Latin poem needs some more work, and I'll have to type it up this week, so that the kids could make them familiar with the roles during autumn break.

Telly-wise, I still watch "Murdoch Mysteries" on Mondays, which I still enjoy a lot, "Castle" with Mum on Tuesdays and Fridays (we both hate Det. Beckett and adore Castle's eccentric mother), and the Zoo series on the German regional channel NDR. Those are the ones I manage to get home for in time. There are various Star Trek episodes running on both German and Hungarian TV, and I take a look occasonally, but not on a regular basis. If I'm less brain dead, I'll continue watching "Blake's 7" on DVD.

Wrote quite a lot during the weekend: mostly Tolkien's Dwarves, but also a piece of the new Babylon 5 one-shot that occurred to me recently. It will be a (hopefully) short and humorous piece concerning Minbari hygiene. I kid you not!
