Fun times!!!

Oookay, the_wild_iris is finally there, and at least I am having the time of my life. It was a great time with rcfinch and espresso_addict as well, but the two of us now really have the time to look at the nicest places in my hometown... city... whatever.

Yesterday, we went to the Gerbeaud Patisserie on Vörösmarty Square, sitting outside by candlelight, while violin music was playing on the square... I've never done that before, but it's very true that you only get to places in your own city when you're having guests. *g*

Today, we went to the Synagogue, to the roofed market and climbed Gellért Hill to see the Citadel and the Liberation Monument. After that, I managed to get lost (what's new), but fortunately we caught the bus so we didn't die from exhaustion halfway back. We went out to my favourite café, than home to us for a very Hungarian dinner (Mum heroically did the cooking part), and then spent hours with happy fannish, geekish conversation. I haven't spoken so much English since we went to Cambridge, four years ago.

Tomorrow, we'll go to the Castle Hill and whatever we'll be able to do after that. It's fun, fun, fun!!!
