Fannish stuff

After more than a year, I've finally updated telekis_vendiak, my story rec page. It's only one new rec, and I'll have to re-link some of the old stuff, as the Galactica slash archive has moved, but at least it's a start.

I'm seriously considering not posting any more update alerts either here or at antigwenallies, though. It's a wasted effort anyway, and what little time I can spare, I'd rather put to better use. The exclusive circle of interested people will find their way where the goodies are, and I spare myself the disappointment this way.

Floods

Again. The bad weather of the last days has caused hundreds of people losing their homes on the countryside. We're being fortunate, here in the capital, but it's really horrible what happens elsewhere.

Will have to check out some of the emergency hotlines and spend some money. It's just money, after all, and I'm sitting here, warm and safe, while others have lost everything.
