New fic: Merlin/Trochwood

... because I don't have enough unfinished WIPs, apparently. *sighs*

Fandom: Torchwood/Merlin x-over
Rating: General, suitable for all.
Genre: Mystery/Supernatural, with a bit of action-adventure for the right amount of spice.
Series: none
Warning: character death. Also, not Gwen-friendly. None of my stories are.
Timeframe: indefinite for Merlin. Takes place during the (very alternate) 2nd season episodes "Fragments" and "Exit Wounds" for Torchwood.
Summary: The opening of the Rift throws a young Merlin into contemporary Crdiff. At first, he's very confused. Then he spots a familiar face, which makes him worried about the fate of the King, the Princess and their faithful knight.

Disclaimer: the usual: don’t own, don’t sue! Everything belongs to the BBC - and doubly so. I used a great deal of rewritten original dialogue, though.
