Heat wave

Yeah, it has hit again. And, of course, on a week when I have to go to school and get the kids to summer camp every morning. Just my luck.

Creative work has slowed down accordingly. Melted brain cells aren't a good, thing, I'm afraid. Still, I typed up a few long-overdue things and added the rest to the city descriptions of the Hanse of Lebennin. You can see the additions on the Otherworlds board.

Have posted the Dwarf story to SoA and FF.Net. Got three friendly enough reviews so far, which, considering how often I got nitpicked or ignored, is better than average. It won't be such a favourite as "The Web of Darkness", I guess, unless I add more battle gore, since it's basically about Dwarves, but honestly, I don't care. I think it's one of my better pieces, and I'm damn proud of it.

German TV started the relatively new vampire show, "Moonlight", last evening. They showed two episodes as starterss. So far, I like the concept well enough. It was a bit inspired by "Forever Knight", I guess, but it's different enough to be enjoyable. And I like the characters - even the blonde chick, which is a first for me. I think I'll give Mick St. John an appearance in "The Toreador Chronicles".

Other than that, summer holidays are going way too quickly. More than a week is already behind me - why must it always be the good times? *pouts*
