Edhellond's 5th Anniversary

Yep, the main group will be 5 years old in October. As this is an important event in the life of such a small community, I've decided to celebrate it with a big anniversary ficathon, over at edhellondawards.

Participation isn't limited to Edhellond members - if you feel like writing Tolkienfic again, jump at the chance! *g*

As for me, the retreat in Germany has done me a wealth of good. After almost five full months, I was able to try my hand on Tolkienfic again, digging out The Shoemaker's Daughter and working a bit on the next, half-written chapter. I'm very happy about it, as I was afraid that this years's first unpleasant and self-righteous "critic" killed for me the Ardaverse for good.

So, everyone out there, this is your chance to pick up things that have been laying around for too long. We have five months till the deadline, after all! *g*

German picspam #3 - The Castle and village of Hambach

Well, practically just the village, because I never actually climbed up on the ungodly steep path to the Castle. I saw it 6 years ago, and while its historic importance is very great, as a building, it's not such a biggie.

This is a very picture-heavy entry, as I've taken a lot of photos, just because the little houses were sooo pretty!
