Cyberlife is growing lonely in these days. At least in fandom-related things.

People I've considered cybefriends keep dropping out of the fandoms or of fanfic entirely, and the recent harassments with FF.Net certainly isn't helping. People just grow tired of all the new limitations, and I can't blame them for it.

But what can I do? I write in so many fandoms at the same time, it's virtually impossible to get all my stuff posted in the same archive (especially as Fredom of Speech Fanfiction keeps refusing to accept my IP code), and my website has very limited space. Not to mention the fact that practically nobody visits personal websites nowadays.

If things keep on developing into this direction, I'll soon be writing for my desk drawer again. Which is a sad thing. I got used to at least some people reading my stuff.

I've been complaining a lot about people falling out of various fandoms (well, mostly the Tolkien one, as fans of the various sci-fi shows seem more persistent). And it's true that it can make an author a little depressed to see that formerly faithful readers lose interest completely. But...
