Promoting my board
Aug. 28th, 2004 10:28 pmYeah, I'm shameless, so what's new? I still think it's an interesting board, so why not share it?
So far, we have members-only forums for Rants, Religion and Politics and The Fool's Corner in the Main area, as well as an open forum for any topics people might want to discuss.
The main fandoms in the similarly-named category are Tolkien, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Vampire-related stuff and Action (like cop shows and such).
In the Creative Corner we have forums for Ongoing Projects, Challenges, Plotbunnies, Beta market and Art Gallery.
Under Recreational Activities we have forums for Books, TV, Movies, Music, Sports and Other Interests. All the above categories are open for guests.
Then we have the RPG area, the home of the Lórien Soap Opera, which will start shortly. That is for members only.
Finally, the Trollshaws are the home of troll posts, which get closed and moved there immediately.
Here is the place where I should get humble and tell how small and insignificant the whole thing is, I guess. But I won't. I'm rather content with the board, which makes me able to bring at least a few of my widely-spread interests under the same roof, without littering the warious mailing lists with OT posts. I hope it'll grow with time - it's still just a week old, after all - and we'll gain many interested members and have good discussions.
