Edhellond anniversary
Oct. 22nd, 2003 09:06 amOur little group will be 1 year old tomorrow. It's hard to believe that we've lasted so long, with all the throwbacks we had to face along the way. And that we still have 22 group members, 1/3 of them even regularly active and participating.
Of course, we can't compare ourselves with any of the big lists, but that never was my intention. But we've managed to make the Dúnadan Project work, no matter how Certain People (TM) were bitching about it (5 authors have participated so far, and we have good hope that some more will in the future).
Our little archive is still working, even though at the moment it can only be accessed through the Author page, as freewebs is acting up.
We still are able to have interesting discussions, even though most of the regulars are particularly battered by RL (TM). And we remained a group of supportive cyberfriends who can share RL issues, too, and the others even listen.
I'd call that a success.
