Folks, my PC decided to finally break down on me - again - after two months of struggle and waiting for my jerk neighbour in vain. Beyond that, the Internet at school chose the same convenient time to collaps, so I'm currently unable to go online anywhere but in the next best Internet café.

So, if I don't answer mail or don't comment on LJ or am otherwise out of touch, it's not voluntary.

[livejournal.com profile] lhun_dweller, thanks for your present! It arrived yesterday in perfect shape. *hugs*

[livejournal.com profile] the_wild_iris and [livejournal.com profile] earonn, I can't access my private address from other PCs than mine, so please use my Hotmail address if you want to contact me re: Evil Plans (TM) for Eastern and summer holidays.

[livejournal.com profile] ithilwen, I'll try to reach you as soon as the Internet situation at school is solved. I'll use my Hotmail address, so don't be surprised.

I'm really getting sick and tired of this PC situation.

I hope you can get the situation resolved quickly, broken computers suck.

You're welcome. The Nietschean made me do it. There's another one banging on my door regularly, but he's going to have to wait. Due to a rather appalling gaffe by the local newspaper's recycling program, my credit card number (along with thousands of others' numbers) got sent out as distribution slips - i.e., scattered across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The safest thing to do was shut the account down, but I will be without a way to make online purchases for the next week or two.

Hang in there! Hopefully, having Tyr's voice curling your toes daily should help ease the agony of computer crashes. (All's well with the groups.)

Well, I have to figure out yet how to get him talk in English (I'm very stupid in that department), but that's the idea, basically. *g*

*hugs* No hurry; I'll be here when you get your computer situation straightened out.

Perhaps it's time for a new PC? I know they're expensive, but sometimes that's the best long-term solution.
