Books - nothing can be compared to them. No cinema, not TV, no Internet, no nothing. If they only didn't take up so much room... Fortunately, the new-ish book-cases can still catch up.

So, I have Life in a Medieval Castle now, and it is fantastic. [livejournal.com profile] ithilwen, you must have it, too. I only leafed through it in hurry, as I was caught up with some Halabor background stuff, but it is more than worth the money it cost.

Also, I got three more Brother Cadfael chronicles and am continually in awe of the author, Ellis Peters. Not only does she know her medieval stuff, she writes highly enjoyable characters with exciting plots, too. Seven volumes down, fifteen more to go, to have the entire series. Too bad some of the books are out of stock, but perhaps they get reprinted, soon.

Bestsellers is really a blessing as bookstores go. I'll have to try and make him order the rest of the Prydain Chronicles for me. I only hope that the additional books will be reprinted, too.

Okay, and on a completely unrelated note: BE HAPPY, [livejournal.com profile] lhun_dweller!
