Operation Balcony, part 2
Apr. 18th, 2026 08:57 pmIn the morning I emptied the rest of the balcony - including the shelves of the sideboard that were loaded with ceramics and a great many packages of sugar. Then I cleaned the balcony while Mum washed the ceramics that hadn't been washed literally for years. Then I put everything back to the balcony, which took me half the day. Then I scrubbed the loo for about half an hours; limescale was being very stubborn.
By that time we were both done in. Fortunately, we had leftovers, so nobody needed to cook. Then I called my friend Elise and we discussed the outcome of the elections, with which we were both happy. I then took a nap, after which we called my cousin who had his 71st birthday today. And that was our day.
