In local news, we had the balcony door fixed. That's one item ticked off a long list of things-that-need-fixing.

I also gave my friend Evie's chicken-and-broccoli gratin recipe a try. It is easy to make and very yummy. Plus I used the boiling water of the broccoli to make Tütensuppe. The result: I won't need to cook tomorrow. Hurrah!
