There is no such thing

wiseheart... as useless craft supplies. Today, I made tiny little Christmas elves, using supplies I had bought randomly, just because they were pretty. Well, the little gnomes are pretty, too - save that they have no faces yet. I'll post a pic as soon as I've drawn their little faces; hopefully tomorrow.
Other than that, I went to choir practice today. M's pets weren't present, but even that didn't elevate the atmosphere much. I wouldn't have gone at all hadn't I had to fetch the eggs I had ordered; and I hoped to get some free apples again. Alas, all I found was a single apple, sitting in the box in its lonesome. I brought it home where it will be appreciated, but more apple jam will have to wait.
Erica brought me a bag full of empty toilet rolls. More surprise boxes are in the planning tomorrow. Fortunately, I can fold them and paint on the cat faces in front of the telly, so that will be amusing enough.
On my way home I brought Mum croissants from the corner café. She was very happy. we had a light but delicious supper. And those are all the exciting events in our life - not that I'm complaining. I really don't need any excitement beyond the news that deliver the stuff of nightmares each day.
