wiseheartWhat a relief, after unbelievable 18 chapters! Which will be eventually all posted to the Otherworlds Library, as soon as they've gone through beta reading.
I still haven't posted anything beyond Chapter 13 to FF.Net. I'm still afraid to draw attention. *sighs*
I've started to move my Tolkien-related stuff to the Tolkien Fanfiction Archive. While I'm thankful for the refuge, I know I can't count on much feedback from there. That's a place where I don't really belong and probably never will. Just as I never belonged to the Henneth Annun group, although I was forced to return there a third time. For which I'll never forgive the Xingy one. But I needed a public archive where all my stuff would be accepted. Compromises with a bitter aftertaste. Story of my life.
Stella, the angel, started to move my sci-fi stuff to the FoSFF archive. Another good place to retreat to, but another very unresponsive one. But at least it accepts all sorts of stories, so eventually my entire stuff can be moved there - including the naughty bits.
I miss the times when feedback was still an existing thing and writing was truly discussed in the various groups.
