wiseheart... as Saturdays usually are, starting with the fact that Saturday is our laundry day. Beyond that, I had to cook today, too. ugh.
On the crafting side, I finally sorted out several boxes of buttons someone gave me years ago (her in-laws had a small button manufacture and when they died, a lot was left over). I filled with the 12 little sewing boxes I'd made for the fair with fistfuls of mixed buttons, which also solved the problem of the expendable ones. *g*
Sewing-wise I didn't make much progress. I've made one pillow-case, out of sheer, pig-headed stubbornness, but that was all. Tomorrow I'll do better... or so I hope.
The promised storm arrived half a day late, in the early afternoon. Heavy rain + strong wind = leaking balcony. Fortunately, my makeshift catastrophe prevention worked, and the rainwater went straight into the plastic bucket where it was supposed to go. I dread the day when it won't be enough anymore. :(
