Taking things slowly

... because we had 37°C today and everything else would be suicidal. Thank God I didn't have to cook today, and it's also my cleaning free Sunday, so I paced myself accordingly. That means I made good progress with my dollhouse quiet books... in two parts. The second front page is now well on its way: I've finished the house, and I made four bushes, two for each front page. That part was rather work-heavy: they consist of two layers, one dark green and one light green, with the boughs stitched on with brown thread in stem stitch.

Other than that, we just watched some telly and had really long naps. I for myself slept two hours in the afternoon, and that was very nice. Weather forecast promises some cooling down for tomorrow, which would be nice, as I'll have to go to the supermarket. *fingers crossed*
