Actually, being lazy

I got up a whole ten minutes later than usual and promptly decided to postpone the washing of my hair that was originally planned. Too tired, too lazy, too unmotivated.

The only thing I did in the morning was to finish my latest Santa-shaped pencil holder. Then I watched some telly with Mum and solved some crossword puzzles.

After lunch (which consisted of leftovers) I managed a bit of writing: just a meagre paragraph and some lines of dialogue, but better than nothing. Then I took a nice, long nap. We watched some telly again, and then I returned to my crossword puzzles.

Honestly, it was a blessing. I hadn't had a nap for several days - too much to do - and was positively drained. I'm feeling much better now, so I might dare to leave the house tomorrow, assuming the weather cooperates. *fingers crossed*

Summer is, more and more, a time to be somnolent :) I have found, to my great joy, that my hair now stays fine for a lot longer between washes than it did when I was younger — so can happily postpone the hair washing if I can't be bothered, too.

It was. I'm in the process of persuading myself that I don't need to be productive all the time.

Actually, we've just had an abrupt drop of temperatures from 38 degrees to 21 during daytime, but that doesn't make any easier to deal with the weather. It basically knocked us both out, it came too suddenly.

I think I'll need a haircut, soon. As soon as the indefinable... thing growing on my head gets longer than 3 centimetres, it looks horrible. It is thin, there's fairly little of it, and when it's longer than that I look like a homeless person who hasn't seen a bathroom for years, no matter how often I wash it. *sigh*
