I had snail mail!
Jun. 12th, 2025 07:35 pmThank you,
elwenlj, for the lovely little bells - I've never seen so tiny ones, and I'm sure I'll be able to put them to good use. :)
Also thank you,
thesmallhobbit, for the lovely summer card. It was such a pleasant surprise! :)
In other news, Mum and I made our weekly trip to the corner café, which was really nice. Then I made cauliflower Strudel (sorry,
noadvertising), talked to my friend Evie on the phone and we watched re-runs of the GBBO. And now I'm about to read some fanfic until "The Repair Shop" starts.
Question to well-informer British people: Is BBC News not showing Trooping the Colour this year? I'd love to watch the parade, but I couldn't find any hint at a live broadcast.

Date: 2025-06-13 05:22 pm (UTC)BBC News is part of the parcel we pay for at Vodafone (or One as it's called since annecting Digi TV). Alas, they only give us news channels in English — well, save for English Club TV that's mostly language lessons and sometimes movies... the same movies over and over again. But at least they use English subtitles, which helps a lot to understand things.
