In other news, Mum and I made our weekly trip to the corner café, which was really nice. Then I made cauliflower Strudel (sorry, noadvertising), talked to my friend Evie on the phone and we watched re-runs of the GBBO. And now I'm about to read some fanfic until "The Repair Shop" starts.

Question to well-informer British people: Is BBC News not showing Trooping the Colour this year? I'd love to watch the parade, but I couldn't find any hint at a live broadcast.

I refuse to pay for BBC, so I can't answer re TTC. I hope you get to see it, though. I just couldn't resist those tiny bells. I'm certain you'll find a Christmas project that will fit them perfectly.

It's on ORF 2, so I am pretty sure that BBC will broadcast it also!

BBC One does, but I only have BBC News. It doesn't matter, I have ORF 2, so if nothing else works I'll watch there.

Oh, I'm sure they'll keep until the right kind of inspiration hits. They are so very lovely!

BBC News is part of the parcel we pay for at Vodafone (or One as it's called since annecting Digi TV). Alas, they only give us news channels in English — well, save for English Club TV that's mostly language lessons and sometimes movies... the same movies over and over again. But at least they use English subtitles, which helps a lot to understand things.
