... was I this morning. I fetched Mum's medicine - well, they didn't have all three packages, just two, but they ordered the third one, and I'll get it on Monday.

Then I brought my new dresses and trousers to a seamstress to get them shortened. That will about take care of my summer wardrobe. Yay!

Then I rode the bus to the Campona shopping center. There's the only newsletter's within reach that sells German crossword puzzle books. I'm now well-equipped for months. I also visited Tedi and Pepco there and brought some craft supplies I didn't really need but you can never have enough of them, right?

On my way home (after having done a bit of grocery shopping) I saw that our corner coffee won't be open till next Monday; meaning that we won't be able to visit it on Friday. So I bought Mum's favourite croissants and we had them with iced coffee for lunch. We also ate the remaining peanut bars - not the most healthy of lunches, but definitely a sumptuous one.

After all these activities I took a nice, long nap in the afternoon, then had a short phone chat with my friend Evie - and now the day is over again.

As I'm apparently the expert for unhealthy lunches I don't blame you! 😁😁😁

I am not a fan of sweets, but I'd take the peanut bars!

A very productive errand session! I'm glad you are fully loaded with new puzzle books.
I had to chuckle about the craft supplies:) no, one can never have enough, although I am beginning to think they secretly reproduce all on their own, because I certainly wouldn't have bought all that glue and paints and craft paper, would I? 😅

Hooray, fellow iced coffee lovers! My family and friends all make 'yuck' faces when I drink it .

There are croissants and there are croissants. Actually, I like all of them, but the ones sold at the corner café are exceptional. I only ever had the likes of them in France.

They don't know what's good for them! Iced coffee is the food for the gods!

You might be right about craft supplies secretly reproducing on their own. And they are very good at hiding, too! I never find the ones I would need at any given moment. So, you see, I simply have to buy multiple sets of them... *blinks innocently*

I hear you re the quality of croissants. I did get some in the end and they're not bad. The cheap ones are awful. As far as UK croissants go, the best ones I remember were from a local Yorkshire bakers when I lived in Leeds.

Sounds like you had another productive day. Now, I want coffee and croissants. Will have to settle for instant decaf and toast.
