I wish I could

... do what my icon says. Things might be easier that way. Or not. Hard to tell.

Anyway, we had a moderately busy day. We both washed our hair (which means I assisted Mum in the process). Then I prepared a few of my newly acquired empty toilet rolls to be turned into egg baskets. Originally I wanted to do them all, but I stopped by 7 - too unmotivated.

I spent some time trying to decide what to bake next (a decision I later reversed and chose something else) and then made lunch: fried chicken chunks with a honey-chili sauce and rice. I've made enough for two days, so that I wouldn't have to cook tomorrow. Tomorrow will be for baking.

Mum had a visit from the physiotherapist lady and we watched some telly. I printed out some recipes for Easter biscuits that I'm sure I already have somewhere but can't find at the moment. But I've made them before, so there has to be some recipes. Ah, well. Tomorrow there will be Quarkhäschen, assuming the dough decides to cooperate. *fingers crossed*

Theoretically, I could. But I always look up the exact amount of ingredients, just to be on the safe side. There are a few family favourites I do from memory, though. And I often improvize, using up whatever happens to be in the fridge.

Motivation is a big thing. I hung my new living room curtains, but could not find the motivation to hang the linings.
