The elephant farm

... now has a second inhabitant. I've finished the new toy today. I think I'll call her Fleur, as she's been made of a floral-patterned fabric. I seriously consider making a third one of Grandma's old gown; it has such bold, bright colours. Picture is coming up, assuming we'll have enough light tomorrow for my way too smart phone (or the new iPad) to cooperate.

Not much else happened today. Mum and I collaborated at cooking, with me peeling and chopping the potatoes and the Coctailwürstchenfor the potato goulash, commonly known as potato paprikash in Hungary and Mum doing the actual cooking afterwards. This is for tomorrow and the day after when I'll be doing other things. Today, we had apple compote and leftover Maronenkuchen for lunch. And that on a Sunday! Grandma would be scandalized. *g*

I then talked to H. on the phone (grandchildren are ill again) as well as to my friend Eenie, whose daughter has just returned from Spain where she had studied for one semester. We watched the GBBO - The Professionals, and now it's evening again. If I got the evil wizard that arranged for the days to become so short I'll do terrible things to them!

Elephants always live in heards! If not, they are sick or male. Probably both...

I'd like you to know that my elephants are all female!
So far we have Fanny, Fleur and Ellie (in the making). But I'm planning a fourth one that I'll probably call Fluffy. *g*
