... rather my to-do list for the next couple of months. It's a rather long list, so I'll keep this as a sticky post to remind me of my "duties".

To do in the not too distant future:
- finally getting Mum to the cardiologist for control;
- getting myself an appointment with a dermatologist to see if they can do something about my bumpy face;
- dealing with a tax issue (a fairly minor one but still...);
- selling half my library and a great lot of my DVDs and video tapes;
- getting help with the PC and TV issues;
- decluttering a great many drawers and shelves (have started today);
- trying to get the landline transferred to my name;
- finishing to type up the complete EMV II story;

This is an inclusive list, not an exclusive one. I'll add more things as soon as I can remember them. I'm fairly certain that there was more, I just don't know at the moment what it was.

Good luck with all of that. Esp. the bureaucratic stuff!

Thanks. I live in holy fear of the bureaucratic stuff, which is exactly why I haven't dealt with it months ago already.

What a good idea — I think I must write something similar.

I've copied my to-do list onto the first page of my 2025 agenda, in the hope that I'll be able to tick them out, one after another, given enough time.

You've been busy! I'm about to get busy, because I've been offered a new kitchen

I've been here so long hat this is the second new one I've had — but I was then fit enough to go out for the day and miss all the noise and upheaval — but the upheaval I have to do is to clear everything out from all the cupboards. I'm hoping that the fortnightly cleaner will be able to give me some extra time to help me clear — not to mention putting everything back.

Yeah, the putting everything back part is the worst in such undertakings.

Wow, you've finished half the list, so good progress.

My priority for now and forever is to declutter. Both the small and large attic are filled to overflowing, and we've lots of clutter in the main house, too. It's just finding the motivation to start.

Decluttering is a never-ending process, unfortunately.
