A wonderfully peaceful day

... despite the laundry and the cooking, both of which had to be done. But I can only begin to understand what a weight not having help with the cleaning had been on my shoulders. I was walking on clouds from sheer relief. This gave me the strength to do the long-overdue inventory of my baking supplies and even clean out a drawer in the fridge in the process!

I also did some writing and crafting, all that without the usual urgency of needing to do as much as I can before slave labour would start again. It was amazing, having this peace of mind, simply amazing.
