Cautiously hopeful

wiseheartOur new(est) cleaning lady is supposed to come tomorrow for the first time. I hope we'll have better luck with her than with the previous one that simply went AWOL and never showed up again. *fingers crossed*
Because of this, we had a busy day: once again we've packed the flat together, so that one can go through the whole place with the vacuum cleaner and/or the wiping mop respectively. It looks now like a refugee camp, but we're used to it. If only this lady proves the right one, we might actually get some regularity in our lives again.
The morning was busy, too. Thursday is the day when our local supermarkets change their price-reduced offers, so I started at Lidl, where I got stuff for a fairly acceptable price, thanks to the Lidl Plus app on my shiny new smartphone. Then I took Mum to the corner café - we call this our trip to Vienna - which was very nice, with cook but sunny weather. She enjoyed herself very much. Then I made another tour, this time to Aldi, where different things were offered for a reduced price. If I haven't miscalculated the amount of bread/rolls we'll need, I won't have to go to the shops till Monday.
Given all these activities, me-time was very reduced today. I wrote a few lines of dialogue, but that was all. I got to talk to H. on the phone, though, so there was family like as well. ;))
