I've rearranged the "pantry" shelf that's hidden in an otherwise empty corner of our antechamber. Yes, they've built all these huge concrete monstrosities without any pantries - isn't it a wonderful concept? I'm sure the plans were made by a man. *insert curse words of your choice*
Anyway, I made inventory of my baking supplies by spreading them on the kitchen table. See them without all the chocolate for the icing in the fridge, as well as the pistachio spread, the date paste, the home-made lemon and ginger syrup, both of which need to live in the fridge as well. The various almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews and pecans live in the freezer and needed to stay there, too. So, what you can see here is about one-third of my stuff, and I'm not sure I won't buy even more, should something catch my eye. *g*

The thing with embedding photos from Pinterest no longer works. Drat, it was such an easy way to post pics here! How do you people do it? Upload them to your scrapbook, but is there a site where they can be hosted? I really need an alternative, in case I won't be able to renew my paid account in December, due to my net disability. :(
Not much else got done today. I cooked lunch, did a bit of writing and repaired my ruined angel card. The rest of the afternoon was spent sleeping. I seem to be sleeping a lot in the afternoons lately. A waste of time, yes, but it feels so good!

ETA: oh yeah, we ate from one of the breads today and this one is tasty, even if it looks half-baked (it is fully baked though just doesn't look it) my problem child is the other loaf though, so fingers crossed

Date: 2024-10-29 06:54 pm (UTC)It's a long time since I joined, so I don't remember the process! :( If you search for flickr it should show up as the first entry on Google. I assume that once you click on it, it will lead you through the setup process. It won't have been too difficult if I managed to do it. Trust me, my knowledge is self taught, pretty basic and patchy.
