It rained yesterday. It's going to rain tomorrow. Perhaps I should have gone and do the grocery shopping in the morning when it wasn't raining for an hour or so. Especially as German TV had "festive" programme today, which always means that all the things I like to watch are cancelled and idiotic movies are shown instead. But I was too tired in the morning. I hate being so tired all the time.

So I did a bit of crafting instead: I'm working on a card with a little angel right now. Did the head and half the dress; not happy with the face, but it will do. I also did some writing; one has to hammer on the iron as long as it's hot, right?

I then made a simple lunch and planned to have some rest afterwards. Only that my friend E. called; she was in a bad mental shape, the poor thing, and had every right to it, considering the situation, so I didn't mind listening to her for more than an hour. Everyone needs a shoulder to cry on from time to time, and she does listen to me, too, when I'm having a bad phase. But my afternoon nap had to be postponed, meaning that small things that had been planned for said afternoon didn't get done. I wish I could catch up with my never-ending to-do-list sometimes, just to have a little breather!

So, tomorrow I'll go to the supermarkets in the middle of the biblical flood, as we have neither bread nor milk nor potatoes in the house, and those are essential. And I'll have to cook again. So much about a little breather. *sigh*

I can believe you are. If only the TV could ignore them!

I thank God for a decent size freezer when we get bad weather here. I always have meat and veggies (including roast potatoes) to defrost and stick in the cooker. I struggle with milk, but as I drink a lot of water these days, I cope. I hope your balcony holds up to the deluge.

German TV and festive programme- this won´t happen, not even at Christmas! Bad films, long speeches, that´s all you will get!

So far it has; but again, we were having mild rain, without winds.

Sorry for your day and for your friend's troubles, hope she fares better soon. Good that you are both there for each other.
