I got up an hour earlier to make the first round of grocery shopping.
Then I took Mum to our weekly coffee trip.
Then I made the second round of grocery shopping. I also went to the craft shops in the same shopping centre, but of course Tedi no longer hand the lovely, patterned tulle I wanted to buy for my little angels. *grrr*
After I came home, I had to sleep for half an hour because every inch of me hurt; slouching around with Mum is hard on my back and legs. Fortunately, there was no need to cook today - yay, leftovers!
I worked a bit on my next card, a relatively easy snowman one (which doesn't mean I haven't made any mistakes, but at least they are not obvious), solved some crossword puzzles, wrote a good chunk and played some Solitaire on my new iPad, since my desktop PC can no longer access most of them. That's Windows 7 for you, I guess. The only problem is that the iPad has a much smaller screen, and the weird background illumination is hard on the eyes. The mini was much better in that area.
We watched some telly (will do some more later), I talked to my friend Erna and to Heidi on the phone. I'll try my hand on Dampfnudel tomorrow (the ready-made Alpenfest version, mind you), and I needed the advice of someone who makes them from the scratch. I'm still not sure how they'll work out, so wish me luck.
