Okay, that was a shock

LJ sent me some idiotic message about having posted for 365 days (as if I hadn't known that) and to encourage me to post again. I naively clicked on the symbol in the corner of the message, just to see what it is, and it promptly turned on that horrible new editor. It took me forever to find the way to turn it back; technology isn't my forte.

In other news, we finally managed to go to the café this morning (after I had made an early food run) - at the last possible time, as starting tomorrow temperatures are going to climb well above 30°C. Aren't we lucky that the big cleaning frenzy is scheduled for tomorrow? We've started packing things for the cleaning and that took about the other half of the day. I also cooked the Milanese sauce for tomorrow, so that I'll only have to boil the pasta after the cleaning extravaganza.

What me-time I still managed to get was for a bit of crafting (the next pot holder is in the works) and a bit of telly. Ah, and a short nap in the late afternoon, interrupted by two phone calls (none for me).

I envy your sunshine, although perhaps not the temperatures that go with it. It's eleven degrees here and has been raining steadily for an hour. I seriously considered putting a second blanket on the bed last night.

what a way to lure people over to the new editor! I gave it a try, too, because it looks nice for reading, but is very uncomfortable for doing entries...
