Firstly, behold my yummy Kirsch-Schmand Kuchen - a cherry cake, the dough of which is made with Schmand, a special kind of creme freche I've seen here for the first time last Tuesday:



In the background you can see Grandma's antique kitchen scales which I still actively use.

Then I've finished my little shoulder pads-turned-into purses:



They are nothing special but I need something cheap for the fair, too. ;)

And, in case I hadn't posted it yet, here is Mum during her latest coffee outing:



Actually, I think I have posted it already, but it's a nice pic and we're - hopefully - going again tomorrow.

In other news, we survived the chiropodist lady, slept a little afterwards, ate leftover soup with the cake as second and I had a nice, long chat with Eenie on the phone. All in all, a successful day.
