Got me a new haircut

... not that it would make me look much younger - that is Mum's magic trick - but at least I'll look halfways civilized on the concert on Sunday. I also went to the craft shops near the hairdresser's (the best ones in town) and spent an indecent amount of money on scrapbook paper. I already have too much of the stuff, but if there is anything I can't resist it's pretty paper.

That took all morning. Fortunately, I didn't have to cook; long live the leftovers! So, instead I took a brief nap, we watched some telly, and then I played Solitaire and read fanfic on Methuselah-the-laptop. Both are very good when one is completely brain dead. *g*

I haven't learned that particular skill yet. Besides, I get exactly the same haircut every time; it's just shorter and more ordered when it's new.

Good luck with the haircut. I begrudge the money and have returned to just tying it up/back. Banana clips have become my friend once more.
