The new page is finally finished. As I mentioned yesterday, the pages are getting simpler as I'm running out of time till the birth of the little girl, but I think they are still pretty enough.

See for yourself:

Today was exhausting again. It has been 3 weeks since our cleaning lady left (she would have come last Monday but it was Pentecost anyway), so I needed to do something against the dirt that threatened to swallow the flat. Clearly, I can't go through the whole flat just in two hours as she did it; I'll need three entire mornings to get the job done. But today I did the kitchen, the bath and the loo as well as the floor, so I am content with my progress. TBC next Monday. That will be trickier, the actual rooms require lots of furniture rearranging and the likes, but needs must.

At least I didn't have to cook, thanks to yesterday's kitchen marathon. I'll have to cook in advance for next Monday, too; there is no way I can do cooking and cleaning on the same day.

This arrangement seems doable, though. I even managed to squeeze in a little bit of writing, so I'm content.

Thank you! :)
These elements require a great deal of research, but they are worth it, I find.

Your writing is so pretty. It looks lovely.
How’s the tech going?

Thank you, although this is not my usual handwriting; just something I've developed for craft projects. :)
The tech is still ailing; the old iPad refused to connect to Gmail today, the new one is still in the box, and the smartphone is still waiting for consultation. But I'm meeting Erna today for phone consultation and cousin's firstborn is supposed to come tomorrow, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

That sounds like good news. Are you hoping to get another cleaning lady?

And the page is absolutely lovely.

I rarely move big furniture to clean. That said, when I do move it I don't find much dust and dirt behind or under it.

Thank you. :)

Re: cleaning — someone is coming on Thursday to see if she wants to take the job. We'll see.

We have no choice but move the furniture. The flat is so crowded, one couldn't get around it with the vacuum cleaner otherwise. Small flat, large, old-fashioned furniture — not the best combination.

I'm trying. Unfortunately, there are too many other things to do.

I also need a cleaner. The last one I had was almost too good - she cleaned off a good deal of the lamination (if that's the correct word) on two of my metal-coloured bins
