Me, that is. My energy level seems to sink deeper and deeper. The unusually warm weather doesn't help, and this is the first year ever that I actually feel the effects of the stupid daylight saving time. My 8/16 diet is all messed up. I must put my foot down and keep to my time limits, but having supper an hour earlier than before is... problematic. I'm not hungry at that time yet. Ah, well, we'll see.

Not much got done today. I've made two page bases for the new baby book, wrote a bit, typed up some of what I had written earlier, took Mum out for a short walk - and that was basically it. Absolutely nothing worth watching on the telly, and choosing a DVD and watching that would require more energy than I currently have.

Oh, right, we had laundry day, too! But no cooking, save for warming up some Wiener Würstchen for lunch, which we had after some leftover soup. I'll have to think of something to cook tomorrow, and I feel it increasingly hard to come up with an idea. It reminds me of Granny, who kept saying in her last years: "I'll cook anything you want, just give me an idea what to cook!" (In my case I'd add: anything that's quickly and easily made - Granny loved to cook, I do NOT!)

Haha yes, my mum asks me all the time what to cook as well.
And we always come up with the same stuff.
As we didn't have dozens of cooking books.

Neither do we. Which is why we always come up with the same stuff, too. *g*

I confess I reached that stage with dinner last night. I have lots of stuff in the freezer but didn't want any of it. Well, that's a lie. I wanted pizza, but after eating cereal for breakfast and eating a ciabatta for lunch I didn't think more wheat for dinner would be a good idea. I ended up with two small beef burgers and some broccoli.

Same here- the too warm weather does not exactly pump us up for cooking!

As long as you've got alternatives to choose from... ;))
Welcome back to LJ, by the way!

True. The only thing that pumps me up for cooking is when it's cold and the central heating not running. One has to keep up civilized temperatures somehow.

I'm with you, cooking is definitely not my favorite. We have the same things over and over, partly, because we are picky eaters, but also because I rarely have the desire to try something new. And when I do try, I usually end up picking a crappy tasting recipe. Sigh, both my Mom and my Aunt were great cooks, neither of their talent rubbed off on me.
