I've squeezed in about 40 minutes of crafty time in the morning - way too little, TBH, but at least I've finished Page 3 to both baby books. Frigging Pinterest still refuses to accept my pics, so I'll upload it to the LJ scrapbook and hope not to run out of space before I can get some help with Pinterest and with acquiring paid LJ time.

Here are the pages, pink the girl version and blue the boy one, as always. First closed, then opened.

The inscriptions are the same in both versions.

In other news, the insurance lady paid us a visit - having arrived 2 hours later than originally agreed - and will return tomorrow to finalize the contract. I'm soooo looking forward to it - NOT! But if everything goes well, we'll be paying a little more than half of what we've been paying for years, so it's worth the suffering.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo starts tomorrow. You are all welcome to drop by, if only to lurk and read the snippets and fire on the poor writers who desperately need some encouragement.

Every little bit counts in these trying times.

Yes — that does make it worth the visit — especially as, with any luck, she won't need to come back for at least a year and, hopefully, longer.

The books are so pretty, and I love that you use so many 'moving' parts in your work.

Except for tomorrow, which promises to be another unnecessarily long process.

The one for the flat that covers a great many possibilities... or so I hope.
