Not much to report, actually. This entry only serves to keep tabs on the events - a little help for my less than stellar memory.
My poor PC is still valiantly fighting with a half-dead fan. My cousing - the one who looks like Hugo Weaving - promised to come next Saturday, take a look and upload all the programmes that neighbour guy hasn't managed to upload since last August. Plus that he'd take a look at those dratted firewall settings.
I've finished the first two parts of the Orc fic, wrote a tentative first draft of Chapter 1 of my ST-DS9/SAAB crossover, wrote Chapter 3 to the same story (yes, I know I'm weird in that area)and found an old, unfinished SAAB piece misplaced on my HD (started in 1991). I intended to work some on Mission to Daleth IV and Birhright 2, but not such luck. The Prisoner of Dol Guldur is currently on the back burner, too, and I haven't managed to finish the dratted Voyager essay.
On Friday afternoon I had to watch over the participants of a big maths competition (at least there was no risk that I might help them), and in this morning, we went to church for the memorial service of my aunt. Not much of a weekend, so I could be actually content with what I have got done.
Next week will be one of Hell again - do these weeks never end? But since we haven't won on the lottery yesterday, I'll have to go to work, I guess. *sigh* It's still way better than being without a job, especially at my advanced age.
