Not quite in this order...

In the morning we had a visit from the extremely talkative chiropodist lady. After she'd left, we both needed to lie down and sleep at least an hour and a half.

In the afternoon my friend Eenie visited us, which was very nice. Choir practice fell out because of a school holiday, so she had that time free. Afterwards, my other friend, Elise, called us to ask about Mum, which was also nice.

In the evening, I managed to accidentally delete all the e-mails from my Outlook inbox that I intended to keep, for some reason or other. I actually wanted to empty my Junk Mail folder, but the site was being slow and didn't change to Junk in time. I'm moderately mad about the whole thing.

Oh, and Pinterest still refuses to recognize .jpg files. Drat.

I'm glad that you have a visitor and also a call.

I've done that with emails in the past — can you just get them back from the Recycle Bin?

Afraid not; if you hit the Empty Folder button, things get deleted permanently, instead of landing in the Deleted Items folder, unfortunately.

Oh, devastating that you lost important emails!

Deleting mail you want to keep is a real pain. After several bitter experiences doing just that, I started setting up folders to store things I want to keep for any reason. (Of course, I rarely go through and declutter those folders. I need to do that some day.)

Oops, sorry about the e-mails! I did the same once then decided I could live with it...

They weren't terribly important — just nice ones I'd have preferred to keep. Still, it's annoying.

Oh, I do have such folders; I just ought to save mails to them more regularly.
