So, the first picture of the fair has arrived; it's not the best one, taken fairly late, when half my stuff was gone, but at least gives you an idea:

On the left side is our art teacher and a dear friend for over 28 years. As you can see, we were the careful ones, wearing masks. *g* My friend Evie took photos before the start of the fair; if they've turned out well, you'll be able to see my wares in more detail as well as me without the mask. You'll probably think the mask was an advantage, hehehe...

Today was spent with trying to put the flat back into its well-ordered shape, but I haven't finished, of course. There are still fair-related pieces lying around; it will take several days to put them all away. But I've re-boxed the cookies left and freed up four whole boxes, as well as put together a generous sample for our neighbours. We always share our Christmas baking with each other, which is nice.

Adrienne came in the early afternoon to fetch her own share and brought me two pomegranates. I tried [livejournal.com profile] noadvertising's drinking straw method on one, and after I had what juice there was in the fruit, I could cut it open and remove the seeds without a serious mess. Thanks for the idea! Now only Gaby needs to collect her cookies, and perhaps I can talk Ilike into a visit, so that I can gift some baked goodies upon her, then that part of Christmas has been completed, too.

I talked to Heidi in the morning. The school of her grandson also had a so-called Advent bazaar yesterday, but she was very disappointed with it. She says there had been mostly second-hand games and the likes and no Christmas feeling at all. She crocheted so many pretty things, but there was no demand for them. We joked that she's gonna work for me from now on, as our fair is always very Christmassy indeed, and the customers (even children) seem to have an eye for real quality. Not all of them, the smaller the kids the more attracted they are to kitsch, but still.
