Advent 2023 - Day 11

Well, not a day of good news, for certain. :(

Our choir leader has fallen ill, so our Saturday evening concert has been cancelled. Which means no choir practice tomorrow, therefore no lift for me from Eenie. Fortunately, the recipients declared themselves ready to fetch their cookies in person, but I still have to take the rest of my wares to school. At least now, that the cookie boxes got out, the bag has become really lightweight.

But the weather played a cruel joke on me: wonderful sunshine all day when I had to stay in and take part of the cleaning frenzy, but now it's raining. Delaying the transport of the wares won't help; there is no way to be sure that the weather would be any better on Thursday. Ah, well, I'll do it in the morning, pray that nothing gets soaked and do the grocery shopping on my way home, since we have no yogurt, no veggies, very little milk and bread in the house. *sigh*

Oh wow, weather is so unpredictable. Hope it wasn't too bad and you were able to stay relatively dry. Sorry about your choir leader and the cancelled concert. Hope she is better soon.

Argh! I understand the problem of getting wares to craft fairs etc. That's why I had to give up. I hope both you and your crafts arrive safe and dry.
