Happy Birthday, dear
elwenlj! I hope it was a great one!

This is another day I wish we lived closer to each other. My goddaughter, her mum and I went to the discount craft shop and had great fun. You'd have enjoyed it, too, I think - unless you suffer from claustrophobia. Space and air are a bit on the short side in that shop - but their offerings are fantastic.
It wasn't my first time there by far, so I've managed to only buy things I actually needed (not that I'd get everything; it's Murphy's Law that they always have tons of stuff, except things in the exact size or colour one needs), but my goddaughter got a bit carried away. In the end, her mother paid for her purchases with a credit card, and she'll give it gradually back in cash, so that her husband - a poor, prosaic soul who can't understand the siren song of craft stuff - won't get a heart attack. *g*
Since I had to do the grocery shopping as well, this ate my whole afternoon, but I consider it time well spent. In the morning I worked on the doughnut keyrings; one is finished, three others are decorated, all six are equipped with hangings and the actual metal rings for the keys, so I'm making progress.
And as Mum has offered to cook tomorrow, I'll be making orange marmalade. Yum!
