Sep. 5th, 2023 07:31 pmI went to Aldi this morning, because the yogurt we eat each day was considerably reduced in place. The government forces the big supermarkets to make various sales time and again, and this time our yogurt had its turn. I bought 12 cups - that would last as many days for us, as we generally share a cup for breakfast. (Among other things.)
Since I was in the neighbourhood already, I also paid the Remo craft shop a visit. They've got an incredibly amount and variety of things... just rarely the size, colour or pattern of materials/tools/whatnot that I would need. So I ended up with a single sheet of light brown felt and a small package of paper doilies, just to not leave with empty hands. So frustrating!
Coming home, I worked on the two little paper albums. I might have to make a third one, too, as I'd managed to forget that Elise's youngest granddaughter will turn three at about the same time. But she won't come to our early autumn get-together (assuming that we can get together, now that quite a few of us have retired and two of the young ones are still on maternity leave), so hers can wait. I've made the hinges and pinned the pages together to see how the book would look like. I'm still not sure I've done it right, so I'll have to re-watch the YouTube video if I can. Yesterday I had to restart my PC for YouTube to work at all! Grrrr!
We had leftovers, so no cooking was necessary. Mum had a visit from the physiotherapist lady, and we watched some telly. Then I lazed around a bit with my ancient laptop and Solitaire, and now the day is over again. *shakes head in amazement* Where has the time gone?
