Mentally drained

I made apricot jam in the morning before it would get too hot.

I made the cart for Page 3 of the songbook.

I endured the annual visit of the insurance agent - the only person on Earth who talks as much as the chiropodist.

I dragged Mum out for a short walk around the building in the half-hour when temperatures were actually bearable.

All this on 5.5 hours of sleep. 'Nuff said.

Except this: Happy Birthday, lhun_dweller, should you accidentally visit LJ. It has been too long.

I intended to — before I realized that I had forgotten about the cherry pits I was boiling for later use. Nap had to be sacrificed in order to scrap the dish in which the pits burned clean.

lol it never ends. I sweep and wash my floors and the orange cat Charlie barfs on it, and the puppy pees and poops. I vacuum the couch and the animals congregate there again.
