Today we had our usual end-of-term farewell party with the choir. We went to the Four Musketeers Restaurant for dinner and had great fun. So did the waiters, frankly, especially when we gave an impromptu concert after dinner. Some other guests were clearly no music lovers because they shot us unfriendly looks, but we didn't really care. We had asked the waiters in advance if we may sing a bit, and they gave their okay, so there. The one toddler present in the restaurant appeared to enjoy it, so we've done something for the cultural education of the next generation, too.

Otherwise, it was a very busy day. I made the food run in the morning because our fridge was literally empty. Then I went to school to fetch my pre-ordered eggsies and chatter a bit with several (ex-)colleagues. Also delivered the not-quite-ugly felt turkey that was admired by everyone. Yay!

Then I ran home to be here when the physiotherapist comes; I wanted to discuss Mum's knee with her, but she couldn't say much, either. Barely was she gone, I had to leave for the restaurant, prettied up for the big event. This was the first time this year that I actually wore a skirt. It felt good.

After dinner I came home, made supper for Mum and am now adequately tired. But that's okay. I'm not planning to leave the house in the next two days.
